SAILING WEAKNESSES |

1. Driving the boat. I simply just have not had enough time at the wheel/tiller. My job has always been to focus on tactics and strategy not boat speed, so my driving time has always been limited (as it should be). |

|
2. True offshore experience, as in ocean racing. For example, races like Newport-Bermuda, Marblehead-Halifax, etc. Since I enjoy boat-on-boat tactics and strategy, my skills are much more suited to round-the-buoys racing than the “navigational tactics” skills used for point-to-point racing. |
